Owner of Ernest Smith Productions, he is an editor, photographer and filmmaker. Ernest experiences cover talk shows, movies, sports, documentaries, music videos and commercials. Some of his productions include ChurchFolk, Town Of The Ghost, Live With Christine, The FunnyVille Show, The Rulz TV Show, On The Come Up, Escapeless, Send Or Else and ESP Sports. Some of the organizations he has worked with are the ECBL, Mix It Up Sports and Strong Wil Survivors.
Ernest is a very passionate person who gives back to his community in which he holds a cancer event each year to empower survivors. Ernest Documentary ,You're Not Alone, is one of his films that got him noticed for an award. Skilled in photography and Videography, he has also been awarded the Brides Choice Award. Skilled in the martial arts Ernest has won many championships for wrestling and boxing as an amateur. Nowadays he is working with Mix IT Up Sports on the video production side of things.
Ernest was raised in Norfolk VA by a guardian after spending years in a foster home. Most of his childhood was trying to survive as he went from household to household. Although his parents weren't around for much of his life he had good people around him who mentored him. One of the things he loved to do was music. At the age of 18 Ernest started his own record lable called Miprod Entertainment. Groups under his production was DJ Gusto, Soul Cyfer and Two Of A kind. Producers he worked with were DeNiro, who works in California now and Fruity. Even at a young age Ernest managed to get a deal with Epic Records to develop artist. His groups performed in many venues and packed the house most of the time. He never avoided hard work as he and his groups went out on foot promoting what his lable had to offer. He even took trips to New York to promote their music. Ernest did it all, he was a manager, sound engineer and music producer. He spent years in the music industry as a music producer and manager.

2008 after a long break from music Ernest decided to try his luck in photography and Videography. His first customer was Coach Mike London of the Virginia Cavaliers. Since then he has manage to work with Jarmon Bushrod, Dan The Beast Severn, Coaco Brown, Grammy Award winning song writer Juanita Wynn, Cool Bubba Ice, Quincy Carr and Joe Torry.
